Music Isn't Converting Songs in Full From MP3 to AAC

I'm suddenly having issues when I convert my songs that I'm adding to Apple Music. I just converted an album and every song converted to only 2:19 (none are that short). After I realized it I converted again and the max length converted was 3:19. I've tried again multiple times and the few songs that are longer than 3:19 still won't fully convert. I've tried them as a batch and individually.

I also quit and reopened Music and it converted one of the files that was 3:33 fine. I then tried the other 3 together and the longest it would convert was to 3:33. I've quit and reopened more than a times and I can't get the last few to convert above 3:33 (they're not long, longest is 3:58).

Has anyone had this issue? I've been using iTunes/Music for quite literally 20 years and this has never happened until about a week ago. When it happened then I figured it was a glitch with the file, converted again, and in that instance everything was fine.

Update: I was able to get the last few to convert by individually re-adding the files into Music from my downloads folder. Still a very strange experience.

I was on a mid-2012 MacBook Pro when this started and I'm now on a new MacBook Air, so it's not exclusive to one device.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. 😁

It's just something I've always done. It was advised to me so many years ago I can't even remember when, but it was a matter of optimizing space on probably an iPod because I have a large library and AAC files were smaller than MP3s so it would allow me to better fit more files.

Maybe now that I'm about to have a 2TB phone I can finally give it up for new files haha.
