Same here.
Since the update to Sonoma, my responses are either cut off or even not shown at all on the right side of the window. When iMessage is launched, they are shown for a split second, but immediately disappear behind the right edge of the window. Also, when maximizing the window, they are only partially shown.

Mine is also doing this since the update. I found that if I click into a different conversation and then back into the original conversation, the screen no longer cuts off the right side of the messages.
I am having the same issue and have been working with Apple but so far no success. For me when I start Messages the full thread shows, but then seems to move to the right and part of the right of the message including tool bar is no longer shown. If I click on another user I am having messages with while keeping the app up it appears fine. So it only occurs when I first start the application. I can start Messages, have the issue, click on a different conversation, no problem, then click back on the conversation was on when started and the problem is no longer there. But if I close the application and reopen, problem. Doesn't matter who I am talking to it is just the conversation the application begins on when started. And I believe this started when I upgraded to Sonoma 14.0.
Ditto. Full message appears once I select another message, then go back to the original that was cut off on the right side. Hopefully fixed in 14.01 release.
Hello,
with the latest update for Sonoma the problem has been solved for me.
Sonoma 14.1 seems to have fixed the issue.
