IPad connection to USB Flashdrive

I want to transfer files between an external flash drive and an Apple iPad Pro the Lightning to USB-3 Camera Adapter doesn't provide enough power. Is there any other adapter I can use?

Do I need to get a USB hub, plug the Lightning to USB Camera Adapter into the iPad or iPhone, then plug the USB-A from the USB hub into the Lightning to USB Camera Adapter, and then use another cable to connect the USB hub to the wall outlet? Would that work?

USB Adapter I bought a Lightning to USB camera adapter from the APPLE Canada store, hoping to be able to take photos from a USB flash drive and upload them onto an iPhone 13 and/or an Ipad 9. When I plug it into the iPhone, I get this message: "Cannot Use Accessory." "This accessory requires too much power." What gives? I was assured it would work just fine.

iPAD 9th Gen -Lightening to USB adapter I purchased an iPad and should receive tomorrow. Unfortunately I just realized the 9th Gen has a lightening instead of USB-C. I have some files on flash drive (mainly Word and PDF) that I need to transfer to iPad. However all I find is the lightening to usb camera adapter—is it possible to use my flash drive on the camera adapter? Thanks!

When using the Apple Lightning to USB3 Camera Adapter with USB Storage devices, ensure that you have also connected your iPad Power Adapter to the Lighting port of the Adapter.

The Power Adapter must be rated at 12W (i.e., 2.4A @5V) or greater - 20W/30W being recommended.
