Text Tones

I changed my text tone to newsflash, then accidentally changed it to default now I can’t find text tone again to put it back. Where did it go?

Open Settings App

Tap Sounds & Haptics

Tap Text Tone

Tap Classic

Tap News Flash (or any other Classic tone you want)

Text Tone SILK missing I have had SILK set to my text tone for years. With the last update it removes my sounds. When I went in to reselect SILK for my text tone the option is not there. I looked in the Classic option where it was before and it's not there. When I look under Ringtone in the Classic option it shows SILK but I can't select it for a text tone. What happened with the last update to mix things up so bad? How can I get SILK back as my text tone?

how to choose custom text tone in IOS17 Normally my old text tone is m4r file. After updating ios 17, There is no custom text tone (m4r file) which I use in IOS16
