I no longer get captions appearing with Live Captions.
Live Caption shows as ‘listening’ and audio bar indicator which normally bounces about with sound is just flat line despite eg podcast or YouTube audio playing.
iOS 16.6.1 and preferred language set to English (US)
Live Captions working again now.
There was a message explaining “downloading…” for about 15 mins. Once that finished captions started working again.
Don’t understand why Live Captions had to wait for a download to finish though to work. As I understand it works offline too. I’d expect any download needed to happen in background and not halt live captions.
