My iPhone 12 will not turn on. I tried everything it’s not the battery.

My iPhone 12 does not turn on. This started yesterday. My phone just turned off, all of a sudden I thought the battery was dead. When I started charging my phone, I realize my battery was not dead. Soon as I plugged it in the apple sign came out, I put in my pass code and I was good started listening to music, walking, it happened again. As long I was not moving my phone around it was good didn’t move my phone while I was charging. It was OK. The same thing happened in the following day now it will not turn on at all now. What do I do??

Plug it in for at least 15 minutes, then, while still plugged in:

Press and quickly release VOLUME UP

then

Press and quickly release VOLUME DOWN

then

Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears (15-30 seconds), ignoring "slide to power off" if it appears

The operative word here is QUICKLY; and try it a couple of times, the timing is a little tricky.

If and when you can open it go to Settings/Battery/Battery Health and see what it says about the battery condition.
