When making a call, selecting "speaker" gives 3 options. The Settings / phone/ Calls on other devices is toggled on. When I go to the screen to toggle "Allow Calls on other devices" off, it's off.
I want to stop getting the 3 options.

it’s making me crazy especially when driving as the whole point of Speaker is to be hands free, but this list makes that impossible…🤷🏻♀️

That is not possible. When you tap on the button it will list all devices that audio can be directed to. And actually, it may give a lot more than 3 options if you have multiple devices to allow calls on and/or multiple Bluetooth devices connected.
What are the “other devices” listed when you tap the Audio button? If they are not a powered on Mac or iPad that is connected to both iCloud and the on the same Wi-Fi network the Calls on Other Devices setting is not why you are seeing options other than Speaker.
? I have read that the cure for several options appearing when you select "speaker" when making a call on the iPhone is to go to Settings/Phone/Calls from Other Devices and toggle that off. My phone shows this as "On". When I go through to the next screen, which gives a toggle for "Allow Calls on Other Devices", that is already off. It won't allow me to switch that final toggle on bc none of my other devices are signed in to iCloud.
It seems to be a glitch. Wondering if there's any other approach.
How to stop the option screen when I just want to use the Speaker option? I press Speaker and Apple created this craziness screen to select Speaker or keep it at Phone. Too insane to make any sense!
