iCloud for Windows won't install

iCloud was not syncing with Outlook (calendar and contacts). I deleted it and tried to reinstall an older version but that didn't install properly. Tried to repair it -- no luck. Gave up and tried to re-install newer version and now that one won't install either -- get the same error message that it didn't install properly. Tried to repair the newer version and still no luck. I have Windows 11, which is updated. So, now I don't have iCloud on my PC and certainly can't fix the syncing issue with Outlook.
