iCloud for Windows thinks Outlook is not installed

I have the same issue. No matter what I do, the IMAP INCOMING Mail Server password is not recognized.

any updates i even want to use icloud passwords and bookmarks with brave but its only letting me use edge this is brave ^ and this vv is edge

and also calendar wont detect outlook even tho i have it can you please help

I have exactly the same issue with built in Outlook within Windows 11.

Did you ever get it resolved?

I am facing the same issue. Thought adding my iCloud account to Outlook might fix it. While signing the account it asks to create an App-specific password in your apple id, I did the same and entered the password there but it says the entered password is incorrect.

Please read this through before you proceed (Thank you)

What a week, 4 TB Data crash then recovery and then outlook not installed and the Dr. Says I am not allowed to Drink. I could not think of a better time to start.

Here is how you fix this

make sure you have your SN for office first, Mine was 2019 Pro with SN (not a monthly subscription)

if you are not sure use bellarc advisor free down load the will give you the last five digits of your SN

now that you have it uninstall office (HO MY ???)

Next Uninstall iCloud click on start and then right click on the app iCloud and uninstall

you may want to use advanced uninstaller pro (Free) and use the clean up utility to make sure it is all out

Now reinstall the 32 bit copy of office. Mine was 2019 Pro, if you install the 64 bit version it will not install iCloud

Insert the SN when asked

Next check for updates to office

open word then click on account under file the update options and finally update now

when done reboot your computer

now go to Microsoft store and type in iCloud

install it and when asked you will be able to allow calendars and contacts

Just got the same issue. Repairing my Office 365 installation now and will see if it fixes it.

Have you try to generate an application related password before login to Outlook? It work for me!

Tried adding my calendar directly into the new Outlook. App password isn't being accepted for some reason, tried with and without dashes.

I get the same error message, but I'm only using the built in Outlook within Windows 11. Is that perhaps not a supported software by iCloud for Windows?

Unfortunately not. This problem remains :(
