Podcast settings keep refreshing

I’ve set up the skip buttons for my apple podcasts to forward 60 seconds and rewind 10 seconds. However, they keep resetting to 30 & 15 every couple days or so. I haven't updated my iphone, and haven't even closed the app, and yet this keeps happening, forcing me to change the settings again each time. Why does this keep happening and is there a way to prevent it? It’s so annoying.
