Can't see all files "On My iPhone" from Mac Finder

this is not related to my issue. I have several folders of files just under On My iPhone, in the Files app on the phone. Some, but not all of them, are visible under Files on the Mac. My solution was simply the folder of interest into another folder in exactly the same location (one which happened to be visible on the Mac). Then I could access that folder on the Mac.

Well, I was able to, on my phone, move the folder of interest to inside of one of the folders that was present in Mac Finder. Only then could I access the files I needed to access.
