Focus won't turn off!

Please to NOT tell me how to go into my settings select focus and turn it off. It is off. Supposedly. But anyone who texts me tells me my notifications are silenced. I don't want them to be silenced. I still get them, but it tells whoever sent it that it is silenced. It says it is sent quietly, and asks them if they want send a notification anyway. I have looked at focus, notifications, I can't figure out how to make it stop. I have dove into this several times, google searched, searched here...nothing. PLEASE Help! iPhone 13.

Hello,

Hmm, yes it seems like "Do Not Disturb" is on regardless.

Go to Settings > Focus > Do Not Disturb. Is it turned on? Check the times. You should be able to turn it off there or through the Control Center.

Use Do Not Disturb on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Note: you can send text messages to yourself for testing purposes.

Good luck.

No matter what I try, focus doesn't behave. Setting-focus- do not disturb (turned off) and it's still in sleep mode in the middle of the day

Do Not Disturb and Sleep are two different focuses.

A couple of things to check. Review your sleep schedule in Health. Check every focus in Settings>Focus to see if you have a wallpaper associated with any of them. If you do, remove it and see what happens.

I have had the same problem with my iPhone 12 Pro Max for quite some time. I did everything that everybody says to do: go to settings, then to focus, and then toggle off do not disturb. Never worked. Then I thought I would try something new: I went into the schedule and scheduled do not disturb for one minute in the middle of the night. This solved my problem! Would love to know if it helps anyone else, too.
