how to restrict access to adult content on Apple books

My tween has an iPhone and I’d like to restrict access to the books he can see in Apple Books. Ie restrict access to books suitable for a tween. Incl samples.

I don’t want him reading a sample for a murder thriller, nor a sex manual.

how do I achieve this? I’ve already selected “Clean” under content restrictions but this does not go far enough.

also have the same issue with Apple News.

Thanks! Unfortunately the sex manual samples available don’t need approval as there is no purchase and the books aren’t flagged as explicit

so it seems the only solution is to turn off Apple Books such a shame they can’t curate a selection of books aimed at certain age groups.

such a shame as they were enjoying the free Pokémon books available.
