IPhone typing all spoken words it hears

Today my iPhone 13 started typing everything is hears as long as there is an open text field. I don't know how to fix it I've tried a few things. Any ideas?

Hello XX-monitor!

Please go to: Settings > Accessibility > Voice Control. Now, make sure the very top switch (circled in dark purple below) is OFF. If it was on, that was the probable reason of your issue. If it is off, report back.

Yes your answer does work I had hoped I could leave voice control on to make taking selfies easier but this is causing the problem. So now it’s simple I just ask Siri to turn voice control on or off as needed. Thanks. I was hoping for another solution but this is certainly workable.
