iPad calendar virus?

IPad Calendar app has some kind of virus/spam/malware or something that tells me of advertisements , subscriptions, people, etc, occurring that are put in to multiple dates.

I deleted the app, it had become so frustrating notifications still appearing!

I presume the deleted app is in The Cloud . How do I get rid of this calendar app Forever? (I have to admit I depended, miss, and loved it.)
