Restoring from iPhone backup that has old Apple ID

I restored an old iPhone backup to my phone. The backup has an old Apple ID that was changed to a new one. Is there anyway to sign out of Find My Phone as the iPhone thinks it can still use the old and changed Apple ID.

Right now the phone works but is not signed in, cannot be signed in, and won't do anything that needs the Apple ID signed in.

Perhaps Apple should not allow restores to be attempted from Apple ID where the email associated with the ID has been changed? Because it effectively bricks the phone?

iCloud uses Apple ID credentials.

If you do not remember the Apple ID Password then follow the steps given in this Apple Article -> If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

If you are not the owner and do not have the Apple ID and Password then there is no way that you can get into this iPhone unless the original owner shares the Apple ID and password with you. If you are lucky you can get into this iPhone if they (owner) accidentally remove the device from their Apple ID.
