Numbers app file lost

Hello,

I recently deleted a few documents. There was one Numbers Document that I didn't want to delete but went with that bunch. Can I recover it ?

This morning I realized a file I have been working on all week is now missing, and searching for it within that app gets me nowhere. Is that file gone for good now? Any ideas would be helpful, I will be so upset if I’ve lost a week’s worth of work.

Best case it is still in your trash can.

Delete files and folders on Mac - Apple Support

If not you could restore it from your TimeMachine backup, I hope you are running backups on your MacBook.
