iWatch display will no longer stay on

iWatch ser. 6, app is set to watch display "always on." Have worked fine for ages, but suddenly stopped working. Display does NOT stay on. Turned feature off in the app, power cycled watch and phone, set app display to "always on." Still does not work.

Excessive rebooting Since upgrading to iOS 10.0 on my iWatch 8, I have noticed I have to reboot the watch quite often. The display goes "wonky", the display looks like I've done a two-finger stretch, displays I've never seen before, huge fonts so much so I only see one letter. Has anyone else seen this problem?

iwatch model 6 display ON not working It used to work until I upgraded. I have a model 6 watch and iphone 12 pro max. Setting on the watch has display ON; but, it goes dark after a few seconds until I tap the screen. Annoying. How can I fix that - I want the screen ON all the time

Make sure Low Power mode is not on (Yellow circle at 12 oclock position)

Thanks for the suggestion, but that's not the issue. Low Power mode is not on.

Unpair it and set up again as a new watch ie don't restore backup.

I was trying to avoid that, but I did unpair it and set up as a new watch. Still doesn't work!
