Static noise iphone14promax

Lately ,I’ve noticed that every time i make video, there’s some cracking noise in the background. I even made an experiments

* I recorded my husband when he’s snoring and all i can hear is the cracking noise not him snoring. (Using nomal camera)

Recorded him snoring using Instagram camera, i can hear him clearly snoring
this time i used Facebook camera and all i can hear is the cracking-noise.

has anyone have experience this kind of issues on their iPhone’s?

From my understanding, this is a typical operation of OIS cameras, whether they are based on sensor technology or other mechanisms. Due to the mechanical nature of OIS, a certain level of noise is inherent. In the case of more recent phones, such as the iPhone 14 Pro, the emitted sound, albeit subtle, tends to be slightly more noticeable. This often presents as a faint hissing or static sound.

btw, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) is a technology used in cameras and smartphones to reduce blurring and shaky effects in photos and videos by physically adjusting the camera's lens or sensor to counteract unwanted movements.
