Silicone/Soft protective cases for MacBook air 13"?

I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse here, but does anyone know if they still make soft silicone cases for MacBook Air 13" . I've had several of these plastic hardshell cases and they all chip in less than a year depending on the company. Yeah, they come in funky colors and do fit nicely, but I'm not someone who drops my computer and the material is cheap plastic made in china any way you slice it. I don't really want to pony up the 'big bucks', as I don't really need that sort of protection. For the most part my Mac travels within my house, with the occasional vacation or weekend trip. Anybody?

What do you mean? The bottom of these hardshell cases DO have venting, and I have seen silicone cases with the same thing. I'm not asking for ideas, as I have seen the product but don't think it's made anymore. Thanks, for the quick reply, though.

Don't use cases or "skins" on a Mac. They will impede proper heat dissipation and will cause cosmetic damage.

Venting yes, but still they are not nearly as open to air flow as not being there. It's your call ... it's your property.

Anything that adversely affects cooling air flow either over the outside of the Mac or into the internals is a bad thing.

It's your call, but a simple sleeve has always seemed like a better idea as it's off the Mac when the Mac is in use and not affecting air flow.
