  1. Open the Photos App: Tap on the "Photos" app icon on your iPhone's home screen.
  2. Tap on "Shared": At the bottom of the screen, you'll find a tab labeled "Shared." Tap on it to access your shared photo libraries.
  3. Select the Shared Library: You'll see a list of shared albums or libraries. Tap on the shared library that you want to view.
  4. View Photos: Inside the shared library, you'll see the photos that have been shared. You can swipe left or right to scroll through the photos.
  5. Tap on Photos to Enlarge: Tap on a specific photo to enlarge it and view it in more detail.
  6. Interact with Photos: Depending on the permissions set by the owner of the shared library, you might be able to like, comment, or add photos to the shared library as well.

Please note that Apple's iOS and app interfaces might have changed since my last update, and there might be newer features or changes that I'm not aware of. Make sure to refer to the latest iOS user guide or Apple's official support resources for the most up-to-date instructions.

What happens when you try to view the Shared Library? How are you trying to access it and where is it going wrong?

Is the system version correct, that is shown below your question? You need a version of Photos on your device that is supporting the shared library.

  • On a Mac you need macOS 13 or later
  • On an iPhone or iPod Touch iOS 16 or later,
  • On an iPad you need iOS 16 or later

And you can only see the Shared iCloud Library as a part of your iCloud Photos Library. On a Mac, if you are having more than one Photos Library, you need to open your System Photos Library and enable iCloud Photos for it.
