Aged people usage and prevent apps delete from Home Screen and prevent modify contacts

apple is not providing functions required for elder people to use iPhone easily. Like lock app (prevent remove from Home Screen). Prevent content changing from Contacts app. I bought an iPhone to my mother, I am facing the issue, every time her contact are missing OR new contacts created with noname/hfjdhf/...

I advised her android but she loves iPhone. Can any one help me on this OR advise any other app with helps me.

I saw few posts which prevent deleting from App Library but the app is deleted from Home Screen. I am not looking the same.

In dumb words, (1) I want to make all the apps are locked (prevent for any changes) on my mother's iPhone home screen. (2) No changes in the contacts. (lock the contact list as well)

You cannot lock the icons on the Home Screen, but you can prevent apps from being deleted by turning on Screen Time (by default that blocks deleting apps from the device). The Actual setting if it has ever been changed is Settings/Screen Time/Content & Privacy Restrictions/iTunes & App Store Purchases set Deleting Apps to Not allowed.

There is no way to block changes to Contacts, because the “master copy” of contacts is on the registered email server, not the iPhone.

I did on my iPhone, what I asked above. Prevented deleting apps from APP LIBRARY, then removed all homes screens. Made my App Library as the interface. In the still you will find, one Home Screen as blank in case parents removed the apps, When you do a swipe, immediately they can find all the apps.

Apple should, develop few features which are useful for elderly people.

Coming to contacts, as "Finch" said, as of now there is no way. In fact what apple has the best way. Even my mother remove a contact, I push the contact into iPhone through iCloud.

Thanks Finch for replying.

In your advise, the flaw is, the apps can be removed from Home Screen but they resides in apps library(you are prevent its deletion from here only).

After reading your reply, it strike t my mind is, is it possible to delete Home Screen and make App Library as my primary screen for apps? if so, it is useful for elder people as I can prevent deleting apps. Please advise.

I think you mean features that are useful for people with a cognitive impairment or people with physical limitations. Being "elderly" does not automatically mean you can't use an iPhone. Some "elderly" people even enjoy the advanced features.

Apple doesn't read here for feedback or suggestions. However, you can let them know what you'd like to see here:
