Is iTunes still a viable option for syncing with Outlook? I thought that was discontinued years ago.

I am trying to get my Contacts and Calendar which are both in Outlook on my PC laptop to sync with my iPhone either with a USB cable or thru WIFI. It used to wrk with iTunes but that was stopped a few years back. How can I sync my Outlook on my PC to my iPhone?

See If you see an alert in iTunes that says syncing contacts and calendars has been deprecated - Apple Support and this thread: sync calendar/contacts with iCloud versus… - Apple Community. As far as I am aware this feature has remained available since the first warning of its imminent demise. There is no knowing if or when Apple will finally throw the switch.
