M1 Macbook Air Won't Recognize Native Resolution of External Monitor

I have an external monitor (21:9 aspect ratio, 2560x1080 resolution). It worked fine with my M1 Macbook Air until I upgraded to Ventura. Now, my computer will only allow me to have the monitor at a max resolution of 1920x1080. Even if I show all resolutions, 1920x1080 is still the max listed. I've seen a lot of other people with this problem, but not solution that has worked for me. Does anyone have a solution?

The solution that worked for me is changing the USB-C settings. Ventura has a "USB Restricted Mode" that limits the connections of devices when you plug them in. Your computer is SUPPOSED to ask you for permission, but mine never did. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Scroll down to where it says "Allow Accessories to Connect". Mine was set to ask me upon plug-in, but that never happened. I changed it to "Automatically When Unlocked" so that my computer will, theoretically, allow any devices connected when unlocked to work.
