JVC Camcorder mini DV to macbook - What do i need??

Hi there I recently found our old mini DV's and would love to digitalize them but not sure what I need and my camcorder not coming up as supported on imovie list ....hoping the brains trust can help me with what cords and connections I need and how to then transfer .. thanks in advance

I have a JVC GR-DVX707EA camcorder / power cord and cords pictured .. The camcorder has inputs USB / DV / S-video / headphones / EDIT L / AV L.

I have a Macbook air M2 2022 with a SATECHI USB-C multiport adaptor ( 2 x USB / HDMI /USB-C) Also have an older Macbook air 13" version 10.12.3.
