VLC Player on Apple TV not loading VLC files

The issue is my apple tv is showing "Storage Full" when i try to load in a new movie but this is only happening for VLC files, loads all other movies fine.

Is there a work around for this? just seems strange as this is the VLC app and it wont load VLC files.....

You don’t have to load media files into (the cache space for) VLC on Apple TV. VLC can access remote files on networked computers and NAS drives through SMB or (or FTP), thereby using no space on Apple TV.

And if you choose to load files into VLC, then remove them after viewing, to free up space for other media files at a later time.

What is the disk capacity of your Apple TV box? 32-64-128 GB? Apple TV: Settings﹥General﹥About﹥…

I expect that bigger disks have more room for such cache fillers as movies.

What do you have for “VLC file”? What is its format (suffix/extension)? What is its file size?
