I installed iCloud from Microsoft Store for Win 11, and I chose Shared Album. After that setting, all files and folders were wiped out from my desktop, and I cannot find any files. Does anyone know how to find my original files? Thanks very much.
I found one with same problems on Microsoft community, and they asked we to come to iCloud community.

To clarify, are you referring to just photos or videos or all files from your PC?
Also, you can check what file path iCloud pulls from for Shared albums in the iCloud app on your PC. Select Options then under Shared Albums, you'll see the folder being used for that feature. Is that set to your desktop? The default location should be in the Pictures folder of your user account.
