Microsoft Sculpt Keyboard and Mouse

  1. My MS Wireless Sculpt Keyboard and Mouse (Ergonomic) stopped working in 2023.
  2. Earlier this year, the mouse started giving trouble on my 2020 Macbook Pro 13.
  3. This is a USB connection and the Mac only got USB-C ports. After using both 3rd party and Apple OG adapters, it was only partially working i.e. the scroll wheel is not supported anymore
  4. As of last week, Aug 1st 2023, my computer also is not supported.

this is not working on other MacBooks either but works on PC

Any pointers on what must be going on.. how to further troubleshoot this?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.6

We had a 15" Microsoft Surface II , Surface Book II maybe, with the mouse you're talking about. It worked fine mostly on the Surface, but I could never get it to work reliably on any of our five Macs.

If your MBP is a 2020 model, it most certainly is still supported by Apple. Support by 3rd party suppliers is a come and go kind of thing at best and cannot be dealt with by this community..
