Setting iphone alarms for the first day of every month

How can you do this on an iphone? Apparently the answer is that you can't.

Why not? What is Apple doing with their trillions of dollars?

I don't have enough money to take over Apple but I do have enough money, and appropriate friends, to get their attention if they don't start doing a better job on obvious things like this.

So if Apple does not add this feature to the Apple native Alarm App by 1/1/24, then I will take action for all the other iphone users who just have to suffer in silence.

If someone knows a 3rd party App that will do this, please respond. Thank you.

Why doesn’t Apple have a alert for the first of every month?

Thank you both for the app suggestions and Feedback link. I was aiming for amusement, although I do have some ideas about how to reach Apple management. The thing about leaving feedback is that, unless what you want to happen is already on Apple's (or Microsoft's) roadmap or, unless a significant number of people submit feedback about the same thing, it may take a very long time, if it ever happens, for Apple to consider implementing it. This doesn't mean that submitting feedback is a waste of time. You don't know how many other people have asked for the same thing. And, it's possible that someone who works on Reminders is sitting there thinking, "What features could we add that would make this better? Let me see what people are suggesting" and your suggestion piques their interest. It is a bit of a black box but, you don't have much to lose by dropping them a line.

I'm very happy to hear that you were going for amusing!

You might take a look at Calalarm. Or Calarm. They are two different apps.

I would note that telling people how not to answer your question tends to decrease the likelihood that people will answer, even if they might have useful suggestions. And Apple doesn't read here for feedback or suggestions so, threats to them are pointless. But I find them amusing.

You had me chuckling. 🤣

What you could do, is use the Reminders app, set a monthly reminder, and set the tone to an “alarm worthy tone.”

Also, if it’s of any comfort to you, Apple says: “We read all feedback carefully…”

Hopefully, with all your money and appropriate friends, you have a human to remind you of things, so a siren won’t go off to tell you the sprinkler needs to be moved. 😊
