Apple watch se 2nd generation and dexcom g7 cgm

My wife uses a dexcom g7 cgm device and an integrated iphone app to display her current glucose level on her iphone. She would like to use an apple watch to display her glucose level. According to dexcom, the “apple watch se” is supported to allow this for the dexcom g7 (requires the iphone which is not a problem since she always has her iphone with her). However, the dexcom compatibility information only says “apple watch se”. It does not specify whether the apple watch se 2nd generation is supported. Does anyone know if it is? I have not been able to find a way to ask this question on the dexcom site, so I’m hoping somebody here knows the answer.

I have an old watch which worked well with the G6. Since getting the G7 I’m having connectivity problems on the watch fairly frequently.

im confirming that the Apple Watch and my IPhone 10 SXMax also has major connectivity issues. It constantly loses the signal even when my phone is in my my hand so it literally can’t get closer to my phone than that. I actually only purchased the Apple Watch just to have the ability to quickly check my reading without having to pull my phone out all the time. So while it’s compatible, the connectivity issue definitely needs to be fixed. This was a huge outlay of cash for something that doesn’t work as well as it should.

I just got a new iWatch series 9 and to integrate with the new Dexcom G7 and a new iPhone 13 mini. Everything worked pretty well with the Dexcom G6 which had few connectivity problems using a 4th generation iWatch. However the G7 disconnects way too often. Im constantly switching the bluetooth off and on to reboot it. Sometimes that works sometimes it doesnt. This is really annoying and frustrating.

Anyone have a solution?

Same with me. When Dexcom was contacted (three times) they always said , "turn off and then on" then they blamed iOS. It got to a point that I had to shut off my phone or my watch ever single time I wanted a reading. When I contacted Apple they explained, and it made sense that this is NOT an iOS problem it is a Dexcom problem. When I went back to Dexcom they want me to NOT do automatic upgrades, and they wanted me to take downgrade to a several months old Version. I like the G7 size and quicker 1 hr install, but couldn't handle all the troubles of not getting the data from the G7 to my watch. It SO my only alternatives was to go back to G6. I thought about buying a new Apple Watch, but G7 isn't compatible with Series 9 let alone the next one Ultra 2
