Apple Watch 8 not counting steps on a treadmill.

The Apple Watch 8 does not count steps on a treadmill. The only way the Apple Watch 8 counts steps on a treadmill is if I swing my arms all the time, which is not safe. There have been lots of questions about this, and iI think it's time for Apple to make changes to the watch so it counts steps on a treadmill, without using GPS. It needs to count 1 every time a foot steps on the treadmill.

That's what I do, Branta_uk, when I am using my walker or pushing a stroller or shopping cart ... anything that immobilizes my arms. I either place the watch around my ankle, put it in a front/side pocket or in the front of a cross body purse. It skews with your heart rate a bit, but it captures steps.
