Movie Count in Apple TV
How can I display the movie count in my Library? In other words how can I make it so that I can see how many movies I have purchased?

I just bought the 100 movie collection from Columbia on my Apple TV. They don't show up all in my "Recent Purchases". And I have no tracking possibility but to count manually my over 1,400 purchased movies. How else can obtain a reliable count of my purchases if the indication of the quantity is no longer available on my Apple TV? I haven't seen any indication in iTunes either. Please help!

On a Mac, or on a PC with iTunes, the application there will show a count.
Not on other devices, though.
I went to my movies library selected ALL (command A) copied all (command C) then pasted into a Numbers sheet then scrolled to the bottom.
Is that a joke….
How can I find the number of movies on my Apple account
you’ll need to use the feedback form to let Apple know directly: Feedback - Apple TV App - Apple
See if they were hidden: Hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, and books - Apple Support
Unless you download a movie to be sure it’s kept forever, some titles can run the risk of vanishing once they are no longer in the iTunes Store.
Hello monserrat85,
To my knowledge, there is no count.
You should see a Library tab within the Apple TV app where you can see all purchases tv shows and movies and those from Family Share members as well.
It appears that something sinister is a foot. If say I owned 2000 movies and now I am not give an actual count by Apple, then what happens if I count by myself and come up with only 1500?? Because that’s what is happening! It appears I am missing hundreds of movies. At $5 a piece, which is what I typically by them at, it looks like I’m out possibly up to $2,000+
Apple can loose the licence to the movie and you do risk movies falling off your list.
Best way for this is to download all your movies to a server, add the server to your iCloud. Then you won't ever loose them… even if Apple looses the Licence for them.
But that's a big server, and a large iCloud account.
But maybe the investment in security is worth it for your investment in the collection.
I’m with you on this. I feel now they can remove movies at their discretion even though we bought them. I noticed this last night, in the 4.99 movies I purchased Dante’s Peak (which I could’ve sworn I purchased a while ago) and it was confirmed after I bought it and started to play the movie, only to find it started half-way like I watched it before.
I've spent a considerable amount on my collection and kept track of what I have, but now with the purchased number gone, they can remove things and we wouldn’t even know.
Unfortunately for those of us who keep track of that number on AppleTV devices you’ve removed it for absolutely no reason. Please give it back…..
I also think that several movies have been removed from my library. Extremely concerning and frustrating.
