Movie Count in Apple TV

How can I display the movie count in my Library? In other words how can I make it so that I can see how many movies I have purchased?

I just bought the 100 movie collection from Columbia on my Apple TV. They don't show up all in my "Recent Purchases". And I have no tracking possibility but to count manually my over 1,400 purchased movies. How else can obtain a reliable count of my purchases if the indication of the quantity is no longer available on my Apple TV? I haven't seen any indication in iTunes either. Please help!

It appears that something sinister is a foot. If say I owned 2000 movies and now I am not give an actual count by Apple, then what happens if I count by myself and come up with only 1500?? Because that’s what is happening! It appears I am missing hundreds of movies. At $5 a piece, which is what I typically by them at, it looks like I’m out possibly up to $2,000+

Apple can loose the licence to the movie and you do risk movies falling off your list.

Best way for this is to download all your movies to a server, add the server to your iCloud. Then you won't ever loose them… even if Apple looses the Licence for them.

But that's a big server, and a large iCloud account.

But maybe the investment in security is worth it for your investment in the collection.

I’m with you on this. I feel now they can remove movies at their discretion even though we bought them. I noticed this last night, in the 4.99 movies I purchased Dante’s Peak (which I could’ve sworn I purchased a while ago) and it was confirmed after I bought it and started to play the movie, only to find it started half-way like I watched it before.

I've spent a considerable amount on my collection and kept track of what I have, but now with the purchased number gone, they can remove things and we wouldn’t even know.
