My AW6 and my wife's AW7 both gives a dark green tint when you swipe down the notification screen and when you swipe up for the settings screen.
It's also visible with the key pad when you have to enter your code.
Updated today to WatchOS 9.6 and no solution.
If you read around the internet, I'm not the only one.
What could be wrong and how can we solve this?

Whatever it is, there're more places on the WWW where this issue is discussed since OS 9.5.
I mentioned this site to prove this must be something software related.
But to get a professional answer, I ask the same question in an official Apple forum like this.
Maybe there's a workaround or something...
if you have a computer, installing the next iOS in the autumn on Finder or iTunes is a good idea, as well as unpairing the watch first and even pairing again as new after updating.
In the interests of testing certain software I recently wiped my phone and set up phone and watch from scratch and it took most of a day adding bank accounts from scratch etc, but then I'm retired!
It did behave better afterwards.
With my previous iPhone (XsMax), I had to do this just like you describe, otherwise every year I had strange battery issues which did not vanish.
So I made a habit to install the software using Finder on my iMac. Wipe the phone and install them completely from scratch. It took a complete day to do that.
The last year, I did the same, but reinstalled an iCloud-backup. I just had to install my bankaccounts and the rest was done by iCloud. Also no more battery issues and just one hour time spent.
The AW hasn't so much settings, so I always paired it "as new".
When the green tint isn't gone after setting up WatchOS 10, I'll do this again.
But I'm planning to install iOS 17 by using my iMac.
As it occurs on both watches it is probably not sinister regarding hardware.
Try in Watch, Settings, Accessibility, Reduce Transparency
Doesn't change anything on the problem.
(hardware isn't almost possible. On MacRumours is a whole topic about this issue. Too many watches are affected to be a hardware problem I guess...)

Ok, was the last thing I could do...
Maybe I'll wait until September-October when OS 10 comes out. A full restore might be useful with such a big upgrade.
