Notes password added and I didn’t do it

So I’m relatively new to iPhone and I was having some security compromises my accounts. I locked my Notes app with my face being the lock mechanism but today I went on there and a password has been added, I did not do this. When I did create a new note and a note password for the app the new note opens for the password I just created, but all my other notes are locked. I no longer have access to my Apple notes that there is a password I did not create for. How do I reach Apple and get my notes back

iPhone 12, iOS 16

Beginning in iOS 16, you have two options to lock your notes. You can lock notes with your iPhone passcode (I am guessing what you did was the equivalent of doing this since Face ID substitutes for entering a passcode). Or, you can create a unique password only for Notes.

If you use your iPhone passcode, you don't have to create and remember a separate password. If you access your iCloud notes on more than one Apple device, use the passcode or login password for that device to unlock those notes.

If you use a unique password for Notes, there is no way to access your locked notes if you forget the password. If you forget this password, you can reset your notes password and use your new password to lock other notes. If you access your iCloud notes on more than one Apple device, use the same notes password to lock and unlock all of them.
