Guided Access Bugs Continue year 3+
There continue to be multiple Guided Access bugs on iPad Minis (i have mini5 & mini6) that use horizontal orientation. 1) The disabled areas drawn work only the first time you enter Guided Access. if you turn it off for any reason and turn it back on, Guided access turns on either without your disabled areas at all, or with just lines where the restricted areas had been drawn. So in order to get your restricted areas to show up again, you have to turn Guided Access off AGAIN, enter passcode and jiggle the 'disabled' areas around on the screen before hitting 'resume'. This is extremely inconvenient for me and the school where my daughter uses her iPad as a communication device.
2) the restricted areas - even when they do how up as drawn, don't always work. Very often you can access what is underneath the disabled areas
3) - a new one--- if the mid-screen swipe down "SEARCH" bar is accessed while in Guided Access, no keyboard shows up and the whole ipad freezes. There is nothing you can do to exit the search screen Or to exit guided access (triple clicking does not work) except to do a hard RESET of the iPad. MAJOR problem
