Import local .m4r ringtone file with Music

Hi. I have an .m4r ringtone, used for years, that I would lige to import to my new iPhone. Googled for answers and solutions doesent work.

Using a Mac Book Pro, OS: Ventura 13.2.

Connect iPhone via cable, and it appears in finder where I make sync and backup.

Manage my local mp3 files on iPhone with Music 1.3.3.2 and that works well.

If i try to import my .m4r ringtone file with Music, nothing happens.

Tried drag/drop, Copy/paste and Import. Nothing happes, and the .m4r file dosent appear in my "Recently added" in Music.

Tested with a normal .mp3 file - that works very well.

Tried to find another way, using iTunes - cant find an iTunes, that Mac OS will allow me to install - states that the iTunes certificate has expired - so i Have not tried import with iTunes, but as I understand iTunes should not be used anymore? - see: What happened to iTunes? - Apple Support

How do I import my local .m4r ringtone to my iPhone 13 Pro?

See the 'Add ringtone to device, macOS 10.5 Catalina or later' section in:

Create and manage ringtones - Apple Community

Also, as that link says, "It used to be possible to create ringtones up to 40 seconds long, but they don't appear to transfer correctly in Catalina or Big Sur."
