Cannot connect my LG UltraWide display to 2021 M1 iMac after months of successful pairing

A few months ago, I purchased my LG UltraWide monitor to pair with my iMac (2021 M1 24-inch running Ventura 13.4.1) and it was a plug-n-play situation. Zero problems. Productivity Soared. I was spoiled.

One day, I unplugged the adapter from my iMac to rearrange some cords and after placing it in a new spot, was not able to detect my display.

This seems to be a pretty widespread issue and I feel like I've literally tried it all:

Restarting computer and display - nothing

Hard-resetting software, hardware, and cords according to manufacturers - nada

In 'Display' settings, hitting 'option-Detect Displays' - nope

Replaced the HDMI cord - NO! Uuuuunnnngggghhh!

Terminal funk: Intstalled Homebrew, purchased 'Displays' app from Jibapps, tried to utilize 'cscreen' - HALP computer!

Purchased Apple Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter - NOTHING, crying a little now :'(

Purchased off-brand USB-C to HDMI cord - ...no..., checking prices on cheapest Apple displays ($1,500!!)

If anyone has any other idea, even one I've heard before so I don't die alone in this single-display void... I'll try it!

Thank you!!!!

Are you on 13.4.1 or 13.4.1 (c)? It's a long shot but you could try removing the Rapid Security Response update if it's installed.
