I need to migrate to a new computer (mine is 2012) and to keep my Quickbooks desktop. I know quickbooks mac plus runs on a mac but does it also run on a macbook air?

There's nothing asked on compatibility in your original post. A 2023 Mac only runs 64-bit software, whereas your 2012 Mac runs 32-bit software. So, what's the version on your quickbooks software? Look it up on quickbooks' site to see if it is compatible. It will run on whatever Mac, as long as you have the correct version, and a compatible macOS. A 2012 Mac is not going to run the same macOS on a 2023 Mac.
