Logic board failed after 1 year and 3 months of use
I bought a macbook pro last year and last week it decided not to turn on anymore, out of nowhere. I took it to an authorized store, because there is no apple store in my city, and the diagnosis was that the logic board had failed, and to fix it I would have to pay close to the price of a new macbook.
What really upset me is that this clearly wasn't caused by bad use (as I have never dropped it, dropped liquid in it, and there never was any damage to it) and after talking to support twice, it's clear that apple won't do anything to help. Not even trading it in will give me any credit.
I am a huge apple user, but this really set me back, as I had never experienced anything like this with apple products.
So, I was wondering if anyone has any idea of what I could do? If there is anyone else I can talk to, or if you think that there is a chance that they address this differently if I go to an apple store?
