Can’t adjust volume of music downloaded to Apple Watch. When my Apple watch (6, 10.01) is not connected to the iPhone (13, 17.0.2), I use music downloaded to the watch eg. when running but I cannot change the volume either from Digital Crown or haptics menu. The slider turns green and moves up and down but no change. It works fine in every other situation.

Apple watch no longer controlling volume from now playing I am no longer able to control the volume on my watch to what ever I’m streaming (Hulu/Spotify etc) on my iPhone. Just all of a sudden after a system update to 16.whatever I can no longer use this function. I’ve seen others post the same issue with no resolution. I followed the steps to restart my phone first then the watch then both at the same time.. none of these have resolved, I even reset and repaired my watch and still nothing argh so frustrating!! All I get is a small icon at the top of my watch screen showing somethings playing. Does anyone have an actual fix to this?

Are you using the Now Playing feature on your watch? Here's a description of it: Use Now Playing on Apple Watch - Apple Support

In Now Playing, volume is controlled by turning the Digital Crown.
