Mac Mini M2 compatible Microphone

Which microphone will work with a Mac mini m2 and GarageBand. I keep getting the same error message "Error while trying to synchronize Audio and MIDI. Sample rate 48,000 recognized. Check conflict between GarageBand and external device.

I've tried 3 different microphones and played around with the settings and the different USB ports. Just purchased a ZealSound which claims compatibility, and it works for speaking but GarageBand keeps popping up the same error no matter what settings I try. About to return yet another Microphone any ideas?

I was able to resolve this. I was using the speakers in the monitor for output. I tried my bluetooth headphones which allowed the mic to work but there was a slight delay. I then plugged in regular headphones and it all worked. No more Error trying to synchronize....
