Can’t turn off auto enhance photo feature on iPhone 14

I bought the incredibly expensive iPhone 14 (not pro) only to find out that it “auto enhances” (read: ruins) photos as soon as you take them. The photos go from sharp to blurry automatically. They look sooo cheesy and low quality. I went to the Apple Store and was told there ie no way to disable this. How is that possible? Help?

iPhone 14, iOS 16

Hello VD22,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. You. mentioned wanting to turn off "auto enhances." Are you referring to turning off HDR? If so, then the iPhone 14 cannot disable HDR. Here's an article with that information: Adjust HDR camera settings on iPhone - Apple Support

Best regards.
