App Store on iPhone asks for password

I really want to know. Why do I have to type in my apple ID password when making a purchase in the App store having FaceID activated? Does Apple not trust their own Face ID technology. Typing in my password on the bus. Is this more save than FaceID? Anyone knows the answer to this? Please enlighten me.

Face ID and Touch ID are easier but they aren't more secure! Anyone with your iPhone in hand could hold it to your face or press your finger on it and unlock it and then use your Face ID to authorize a number of things, this includes criminals or the police. For this reason, there are a number of situations where iOS will occasionally ask you to use your password to unlock your phone or to authorize something. Especially if it's right after an iOS system update/upgrade or something for which you haven't used Touch/Face ID for a while.

BTW, if you are ever wishing to disable Touch or Face ID quickly and quietly to keep anyone out of your phone, press the power button on the side five times and then quickly press cancel on the resulting screen.

Make sure you have the configurations of 'face-id & passcode' for 'iTunes & App Store' then

- Logout from app store

- Login as brand new account, if it prompts to login in with your 'app

store remembered account' or any auto-login, cancel it, and login as a

new account with your same account (to put your email and password

manually), and it should fix it
