Audio files

When I download audio files from Calm, they appear in neither file folder, iCloud or on my phone. Search gives me nothing but a blank stare. Help appreciated

My audio files that were on the files app NOT ITUNES OR APPLE MUSIC are missing Where did my audio files go?! I have downloaded audio files as well as received audio files via airdrop and saved them to the files app. I went to listen to these files like I normally do and they are missing. I do not nor have I ever used iTunes or Apple Music and I never plan to so they are not there. Where are they and how do I prevent this from happening again? It has happened to me 3 times now.

Where do audio files go when you save them? I've received audio files in a text and want to save them for easier access (so I don't have to scroll through the text thread every time I want to play them). I press and hold the audio file, choose 'save' and then nothing. Where do the saved files go and how do I find them? Yes, my iOS is up to date.

Saving Waveform audio file from iCloud to my iPhone I create audio files on my PC, save them to Onedrive and then download them to my iphone when I need them. The iphone is running iOS 18.3 and has 150GB storage available; the music file is 56MB. I have consistently been able to do this in the past, but now I get "Error saving media. Please try again in a couple of minutes" [Re-Titled by Moderator]
