Can’t delete shortcut from home screen

I am needing to remove a shortcut from my iPad home screen. I deleted it from the shortcuts app but the icon is still on my home screen, now it just won’t open at all. When I edit home screen, there is no minus symbol by the icon so it can’t be deleted there. Anyone know how to fix this?

For Shortcuts that you have added to a Home Screen from the Shortcuts App, touch-and-hold the Shortcut icon to expose the associated Action Menu. From the menu, tap Delete Bookmark.

I had the same problem, too. Now I found out how to fix it. ( Before all of this, get all of your shortcuts you want to delete to one separate page ) First, tap and hold on the Home Screen. Next, click on the white dots below. Then, click on the check mark to the tab where you stored the shortcuts. This will hide it, but if you want to delete it permanently, there will be a “-“ in the corner once you hide it. If you press it, the “delete page” option will pop up. Delete it and the short cuts should be deleted along with your page. I hope this helps you.
