You will want to make sure you are using only your Apple ID, not one he gave you, and reset the password. You will also want to review the trusted devices associated with your Apple ID and remove any that are not yours.

If you feel he has access to your emails, you may also want to change your email password.
Make sure your phone number and Apple ID are the only ones that are able to receive Messages by going to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. You are able to also confirm the Apple ID used here.
