Watch Recording Memo, then died prior to stopping recording.

Will my voice memo that was in the process of recording on my Apple Watch be recovered when I charge my watch and it turns back on? Or since I didn’t stop the recording prior to the watch dying, is it lost?

I appreciate any help provided.
