is this update to the Mac OS or to the I OS ...presently on Mojave 10.14.6...update regarding iPad communicating with MacPro
It’s an update on the Mac, not the iOS. It is safe to download and install. I did it myself recently so that my phone would connect to iTunes on my Mac running 10.11.6.
