Macbook Pro M1 Max 32gb - on Ventura 13.4.1 - Overheating Issue

Hi all,

My macbook pro has never overheated, and more recently it has started and is getting quite hot even without intensive tasks. I'm not sure whether it is an issue with the latest version of Ventura, what would you check? The fan doesn't seem to be running crazy, but still the temperature is high. It has always been cold to keep on the laps and now i'm burning myself!

Thanks for any support!

The same has been happening to me. Mac Book Pro M1 16Gb Ram 1TB SSD, started running hot in 13.5.2. Normally runs at 35-39ºC, but now even idle it's running at 50ºC. Using something as Google Meets will now drive the CPU temperature up to 65ºC and start the fans. Right now, just with Chrome open it's running at 52ºC. Performance cores seem to be drawing power and efficiency cores seem no to be as active as before. No other background programs. SSD is 50% full. The only major thing I've done is that I installed Parallels... could that be it?
