I accidentally dragged an app off my Home Screen & can’t get it back. I tried to retrieve it from the App Store but that didn’t work. It will let me open it but it won’t appear again anywhere. How can I get it back?
iPhone 11, iOS 16

Go the Home Screen and start swiping left through pages until you get to the App Library
See if the app is there
If not, type the name of the app in the search area
Drag the app back over to the screen where it was located before

The App Library is the last Home Screen on your iPhone when you continue to SWIPE LEFT until you reach it. Once you are in the App Library, then you can search and find that missing app. Once found, then you can DRAG the app out of there and place it on your favorite spot of the Home Screen.

That app is probably accidentally removed from the Home Screen, however, still exists in the App Library. I can’t find an “App Library”. If ur referring to the App Store I’m finding the one I lost & it’s giving me the option to open it but it won’t let me drag it
I swiped left & saw something that contained the app I lost & tried dragging it back to my Home Screen & now I’ve lost THAT whole thing when I try swiping left again
